What each element is for

CEDAR is traditionally burned to bless a home when you first move in. Its smoke is said to welcome good energy and send away the old, and it burns slowly, which makes it perfect for a full ritual through every room.

WHITE SAGE is burned to purify your space. Its smoke is used to clear heavy or negative energy left behind by previous occupants, a busy week or a difficult moment.

YERBA SANTA, the "holy herb", is used for protection and purification. It is known to bring a soft, uplifting atmosphere and pleasant thoughts.

THE CANDLE marks the start of your ritual: light it, set your intention for the home, and use its flame to light your smudge sticks.

How to use your kit

Open the windows, light the candle and then the tip of a smudge stick. Let the flame go out and walk the smoke gently through each room, starting at the front door. Rest the stick in a fireproof dish or sage burner and never leave it unattended.
