What each element is for

PALO SANTO WOOD comes from a sacred tree of South America. For centuries, the Incas and the indigenous peoples of the Andes have burned it for spiritual purification and energy cleansing. It is traditionally associated with clearing negative energy and inviting love and good fortune. Today it is used in aromatherapy, meditation and smudging, the energetic cleansing of a space, and to help you relax body and mind.

AA GRADE is a top quality grade: resin-rich sticks that light easily and release a fuller fragrance.

Ethically sourced in Peru

Our Palo Santo comes from Peru, where the harvest is regulated by the government as part of an eco-responsible approach. Only fallen branches and twigs are collected: the tree is never cut. By law, the wood is harvested by members of local indigenous communities, so the trade supports the local economy.

How to use

1. Light the tip of a stick with a match or a candle and let it burn for 30 seconds to a minute.

2. Gently blow out the flame: the wood will smoulder and release its fragrant smoke.

3. Walk slowly through the room with a window open, or hold the stick near you while you meditate.

4. Rest it on a heatproof dish such as our sage burner. It goes out on its own and can be relit many times.

Never leave burning wood unattended.
